Here is the latest prevalence of FGM according to WHO. The problem is unfortunately, more common in Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia (98%, can you believe that?) and of course, Egypt. It's somewhat more common in Yemen (23%) and Iraq (8%). But, take any other example out of the other GCC countries, this problem does not exist.
