Give credit to your nukes.
IAF's requirement is that of a possible dual action by China and Pak. So it's going to be an overwhelming numbers, now with it's economy it'll get the near best, with recent policies and economic leverage it'll also force outside OEMs to invest in local companies and produce infrastructure.
It'll only get worse, you had to deal with a lethargic socialist oriented India since independence, that's changing.
As long as Indians know that breaching Pakistan’s redlines will result in nuclear winter in their country then Pakistanis have nothing to worry about. A war imposed on Pakistan will result in nuclear exchange in which India simply can not win. That simple fact ensures whatever madmen Indians elect to office, Pakistanis can sleep in peace. Let Indians celebrate fictional surgical strikes. Pakistanis should live in the real world.
Serious question:
Has India eve attained Air Superiority over Pakistan airspace in previous wars? Please exclude East Pakistan in 1971.
