Under the circumstances prevailing because of BDR Pilkhana revolt, it may not be the fault of BD govt to disallow BDR troops to carry bullets and then not allowing them to fire at Indian positions without prior permission. What would you expect after the Pilkhana? BDR was totally disorganized.

There were conflicts between BDR Jawans and the army officers who commanded them. We are following the Pakistan-time organizational set-ups when BDR was called EPR or East Pakistan Rifles.

Awami League regime in concert with india involved in BDR massacre. There was some local discontent within BDR rather than systemic one which could and on the way of resolution before the massacre. But india and awami regime did not waste time to exploit that isolated discontent and killed 58 officers of Bangladesh army.

There were two main investigative committees, one by army and one by civilians. Army report directly implicated Sheikh Hasina and her ministers, Awami MP and Hasina's nephew and local Awami leaders. That report never got published but the leaked info already showed that.

Civilian report heavily edited by Awami regime but until now was not available in the Facebook. Head of the investigation published the unedited version in the facbook. I guess he could not tolerate the burden of truth. Unedited version also implicated Sheikh Hasina and her ministers, Awami MP and Hasina's nephew and local Awami leaders. That one of the reason facebook was banned in Bangladesh.
