Things are not the same in UK and Europe ... it’s around £1.20 per litter of petrol or 1.25 per litter of diesel.

But then is price for gasoline at the lowest point historically?

UK and EU always paid more (sometimes twice the price) for gasoline.

BTW Elon Musk batteries aren't ready for prime time yet. Factory was completed in Nevada but production hasn't started AFAIK.

1 billion for 800MW is very cheap and to think that solar has virtually zero running costs.
BD should definitely build many more such plants by 2030.

I read an internet news on a Norway-Iran solar plant. It is $2.93 billion for 2000 MW plant(s). Seems to be a little expensive than the proposed Chandpur project. Howver, Bd project is only at a very initial stage of negotiations. Only a MoU has been signed so far.

By the way, the Iranian project says of building factory to produce the solar panels, at least some of them, in Iran proper with Norway cooperation. BD should seek similar terms. But, my personal preference would be a tie up between the Norway company and a local BD private company.
