Not only my reply was deemed"troll" and deleted by the moderation, but the whole thread is a troll and pure propaganda...
they claimed that 150,000 and some other sources up to 350,000 troops participated in the war games. We know Egypt ( one of MENA's biggest military force in numbers) sent 350 troops, Tunisia 2, a platoon of FS from Morocco, and how much other GCC participants have contributed? for most a number identical to Egypt or less...A simple math shows that the maximum strength of the game didn't involve more than 6000 troops , air forces included! They parade two day before the games, warred one day to one day and half and 3 days of parades afterwards...There is nothing that deterrent about the islamic Nato wannabee, but a car show..
This forum doesn't tolerate constructive critic...Mod act just like their respective countries, if it does please the eye and bother the ear..it has to be demeaning to the greatness of the Muslim states and their rulers....

You are a troll. Making fun of prayer is simply idiotic and doesn't really constitute criticism.

Partly true.

Northern Thunder was no where near the size of exercises such as Bright Star, Eager Lion, or wargames between the Israelis and US.

Although, 6000 troops is still a hefty number. Keep in mind that Nato's rapid reaction force (ARRC) is around that number.

Exercise Arrcade Fusion, which takes place in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, will be led by the Army, accompanied by a small number of supporting personnel from the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.

Around 1,400 troops from 18 NATO nations will take part in the exercise, which began over the weekend, and runs through November. The UK is committing 800 troops and around 350 Army logistics vehicles.

The UK led exercise will put the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC) – the land element of NATO’s new Rapid Reaction Force – to the test. The exercise will help prepare the new force before it becomes operational in 2016.

Participating nations arrived weeks in advance and built up to the principal exercise. So they did everything from range packages to small scale exercises to improve inter-operability and understanding.

Even if the principal phase was weak (which it was) the logistical side of things was impressive. Gathering 22 nations in one place and conducting an Ex is not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination.

There is nothing constructive about your criticism...
