If US believes there is even a 10% chance that NK ICBM will be able to struck US main land, US will back down. North just needs to make sure he gets that 10%chance and those ICBM do not turn out to be duds because rest assured once war breaks out US will wipe NK from the face of the planet. Kim's best bet is to make sure war does not start.

USA will not invade NK this time. A nuclear strike on NK is much more of a possibility.

Trump will succeed to reduce influence of Asian Bloc

Personally do not see a reason why North Korea should not have their own Nuclear program or Missile testing they are independent country

Easier said than done. IN this day and age, i think its wise not to underestimate anyone/any country. You never know how much theyve prepared. US intelligence has admitted recently they dont even know where all NK nuclear facilities are for example.

If Kim is murderered it will be done by his own ppl who do not want a full scale Nuclear Winter... against everyone in the region... China/RU included...
Not every NK official/branch are into madness dark cult...

A senior North Korean official has stated that his country will continue to test missiles in spite of worldwide condemnation.

"We'll be conducting more missile tests on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis," Vice Foreign Minister Han Song-Ryol told the BBC's John Sudworth in Pyongyang.

An "all-out war" would be the result of the continuing military tensions with the US and warned North America about being "reckless enough to use military means".

US Vice-President Mike Pence had said earlier that his country's "era of strategic patience" with North Korea was over. "North Korea would do well not to test his resolve or the strength of the armed forces of the United States in this region," he added.

CIA reports confirmed two and not just one test on Sunday, and say both launches failed!
But I think NK will continue testing till it succeeds.. and some nuclear test(s) will also follow.. For now the Chinese virtual economic sanctions have helped push back the 6th nuclear test to another date..
All this said, the strength of NK comes from the fact that China would not accept any US real intervention in NK where it can test the Chinese defences as well through its EW/ECM/ECCM, AEGIS, THAAD and weapons systems.. hence China will go as far as imposing temporary economic sanctions on NK, but it will refuse any military action in the Area..
