Wrong...NKR have very much to lose.
If NKR decided to engage in a mano-a-mano fight with SKR, each side's sponsor would no doubt involve themselves, if not directly. But the problem for the China-NRK alliance is that they are severely technologically below the US-SKR par. Even as an Air Force guy, I have no problems saying that the ultimate goal of any service is to support the ground troopers -- the army. The NKRean Air Force will become nonexistent soon in the war, leaving the NKRean Army defenseless, and if the NKRean Army cross south of the 38th, it too will cease to exist, albeit its existence will last longer than its army brother. If China get actively involved, so will the US and this is not what China want.
So to keep NKR alive, China will have to get involved but only north of the 38th as a guard against a possible invasion by SKR. Once the NKR Army is defeated and driven back up north, China will become what the US was in Iraq -- an occupational power -- taking resources away from other plans such as the DF-21, the aircraft carrier, the mythical 'stealth' fighter, the GPS-like satellites, and so on...to support NKR. All the while the US pushes on ahead with our military improvements, leaving China behind. China will have to help NKR oppress the North Koreans even more than they are today to keep them from fleeing southward towards. Without a people, a country cannot exist for long.
Now here is my proposal...Pakistan should make peace with India by conceding Kashmir. Once a peace treaty is secured, Pakistan can divert a considerable amount of military resources to help the China-NKR alliance to defeat and conquer SKR. May be act as 38th parallel border guard?
Is that hilarious or what...???
North Korea has become a proverbial millstone around China's neck.
Hahahaha.....
Another "Christmas go home" joke by MacArthur the Nth?
MacArthur announced that "tell the troops that when we get to the Yalu River they can all go home. You will be home by Christmas". ..
