But what significance does it have today, NK is more of liability for China than an asset.
China had nothing to lose back then. Chinese economy would take a massive hit today if China intervened and the war drags on. Imagine, the Yellow Sea would turn into a war zone and all shipping and flights into and out of Shanghai, Beijing, and Qīngdǎo would be suspended. Now what would that do to Chinese economy?but we did it 60 years ago?
China doesn't want a massive USAF airforce base in formerly North Korea where hundreds of stealth fighters could reach Beijing unrefueled. But what significance does it have today, NK is more of liability for China than an asset.

If Kim III can accomplish this, then he will indeed have my respect.
I am more impressed by North Korea's stockpile of chemical and biological weapons, and how these could be tactically effective against a densely populated valley like Seoul.

So you would respect a man for killing thousands of civilian people? Why?If Kim III can accomplish this, then he will indeed have my respect.
