It was meant for the camera, but what u didn't factor in was the China factor. You went bananas when Chinese were angered and tried to sweet talk to them that it wasn't meant for them but failed. Now u have a reinforced two front situation in Kashmir, where your fighting forces are divided. Guess u have put those Azad Kashmir invasion plans on indefinite hold. Tell me who is the loser now??

What does February 27 or any other date have to do with 370 and integration of J&K into the Indian union?

Personally — I don’t think it’s practical or even desirable for India to now take on occupied Kashmir. The economic burden alone would be too much. Not to mention the population — It is no less different to me than India deciding to integrate Afghanistan. I think this is where we were always headed. The rhetoric on occupied parts of Kashmir is likely just a way to seem like we are giving ground during negotiations.

If a united india can loose 35% of it's territory in the creation of Pakistan than it can easily lose 1.6% of it's territory in Kashmir. Especially since China has recently also conquered over 38,000 Square kms of indian territory.......... :
