What's new

No, thank you: Nepal asks India to not send old clothes as relief

It is rather a norm not to send old clothes while assisting other countries during natural calamities.

I agree with you. Food and Medical supplies are what's needed.
But the point I was trying to make was Nepali authorities and their citizens on the internet have shown behavior unfitting those in need. One can not demand assistance as a birth right or reject it in harsh terms when it doesn't suit them

It is not about demanding or rejecting, it is about one's self respect. First of all I have only heard appeals and request from the Nepalese government and no demands. Secondly, please note that the international community is not giving alms to some baggers, but respectable human who are victim of a natural disaster.

However there's no shortages of idiots considering they are either incompetent or unable to digest the news so easy escape for these morons is to attack the OP.
Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh governments, besides the Indian Red Cross Society, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Dena Bank and the MHA are among those to have sent relief supplies through the rail route.
I have frequently mentioned about shortage of brain cells. The problem with you is that you keep flying off the handle without comprehending the issue which was distribution of used/old clothes. These were given by NGOs and NOT the states you have mentioned which have provided not used clothes but tents, blankets, tarpaulins, food, water engineering equipment, buses etc. NOT USED CLOTHES!!

Now have you got it? So who are the idiots around here? Go figure!
