I have a cousin, who was born in 92. His father still proudly tells us, that he named his only son after his hero, Imran Khan.

Shows the love people had for IK at that time, and kudos to IK for using that fame for a noble cause i.e. construction of Pakistan's first cancer hospital.

Not just your cousin, in my school days in 80s and early 90s , Imran was the most famous name in my class mates, street friends and everywhere else and I am sure it was due to popular heroic image of imran khan in those days, he is was actively playing cricket by the way in those days.
