No Pakistani Scholars Allowed

Indian External Affairs Ministry is saving your face.

1. Denial means, no more Baluchs speaking against Pakistan.
2. No more Pakistani scholars opening up there mouths against the turmoil of political system in Pakistan.
3. No more unnecessary tension due to unprovoked statements.
4. Finally saves much needed Forex that otherwise would have been spent in travel :P

It costs to ensure safety and security, even if some on falls by himself and breaks leg, entire Pakistan will cry out loud two nation theory. So why to create such situations.

This is good, good for the world to see the real face

Too bad so sad !
We shouldn't have banned their scholars
we should allow ppl to ppl contacts but at the current scenario any contact is seen as anti-pakistan activity and what if the speaker is harassed by the deep state when she returns back to pakistan.
Its a big risk even for the ppl who come here as well.

Trust these lot to destroy something good.

I guess American organisations will now have to think twice before letting the gangites host anything. The power seems to go right to their heads.

Pakistani scholars face bigger hurdles than just the Indian visa refusals in accessing global academia

excerpt:
"The recent visa issues for Pakistani academics to India highlight just one of the many ways in which we are limited in our access to international forums and educational opportunities.

The problem is much bigger and multi-faceted as I have mentioned above; access is one facet of it while financial resource availability is another.

If we are serious about competing globally and having visibility across American and European academia, we need to rethink the financial resources we are offered, as well as the kind of foreign access our scholars are offered."

Rofl what have so-called 'Pakistani' academics based in US, Canada and Europe have said or done which is in the interest of Pakistan or defended Pakistani society? They for their personal interests [access to Western interests] damaged their larger interest and country's image. Whey they speak ill of Pakistan they are doing long-term damage to themselves apart from rest of Pakistanis but have they ever realized that.

Who is this Qurratulain or Annie Zaman? Why is she going there and where is she based? She is former employee of the western-influenced daily times and also barks on human rights, is one of the foreign funded agent elite. I'm sorry she is not a Pakistani she is a tool.

Leave India aside, they have been consistent with their policy of not allowing Pakistanis. Recently they did'nt issue visas to Pakistani squash players. But there are 'beghairats' from liberal eloite of Pakistan, North American and European-based Pakistanis who have not come out against India, boycotting their stuff their movies, make a policy as they are openly discriminating against a nationality. India can't host events with its apartheid policies but has the Pakistani community sellouts ever addressed this issue? Who want to go there tfor their greed and get beaten shoes by them should first look in the mirror and understand their first priority is the image of Pakistan which they indirectly damage.
