Had Patraeus said that Pakistan was involved he would've been trumpeting that as the ultimate truth. His hate towards Pakistan has locked away any rational thought or reasoning.

Pak duplicity is not my opinion, it is a proven fact which is why even my own country which gave billions and was prepared to provide even more aid had to stop most of it. You cannot really expect us to not hold you responsible when you take our money and then use it to foment jihadis that kill our own troops. That is what is duplicitous about it. For years Pak was supposed to be a partner helping us find obl and then we find the guy was being housed in Pakistan by your military. People like Petraeus have unfortunately been blind to this behavior.

no, the case against Pak for its duplicity has been established and Pak has been punished. The only open question is whether Pak fans will at least now accept responsibility and reform or will they just continue the same failed tactics yet another generation. Hence look up motivation.

Going by your accusations of harbouring the Taliban and then looking at the current situation inside Afghanistan, one can easily conclude that our 'tactics' are anything but failed.

David Patraeus is a professional. He served in the army and CIA; a distinction few people have. He is a veteran of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and has worked with Pakistani establishment on a much deeper level than ordinary people. He has no reason to spread falsehood; he is not a politican.

Former COAS Raheel Sharif have stated time and again that Pakistan is sparing no militant faction in Operation Zarb-e-Azab. Militants cannot use Pakistani soil for their agenda.

So we have testimonial of two top military professionals. Indian friends should understand that truth is often boring in comparison to Bollywood fiction.

Patraeus is largely insignificant to the US, even less to India. Of course given Pak status it is understandable you guys have to grab on to whatever straws blow your way! It is of course good advise from you to Indians to work hard to become a developed country. I'm sure they will have some good advise for you too.
