No One Can Seperate Islam and Pakistan: Gen. Kayani

Islam is complete way of life ,provide us guidance on every aspect of life and there is not a single disadvantage to follow fundametals of Islam .Holy Quran is in Single version even after 1400 years .

How well is that working for you so far.

Brahman Harijan Shudra Vaishya Kshatriya are all Hindus but why by birth they are divide ?

Bhai, I would love to give you all the gyan on that, but this is not the thread to do so. If this is an attempt to do tit-for-tat, then its a wrong analogy.

Caste in Hinduism is different from a Sect in Islam. Islam does not endorse any Sect. Its the sect that interprets the books of Islam. OTOH, Hinduism accepts, defines, and reasons the castes.

.
Islamic radicalism has been tolerated, and nurtured in Islam since the beginning. Despite the failure of Islamic radicalism to ever accomplish anything positive, it's part of the culture, as are the often horrific results.

every religion has sects and sub-sects (if we could call it that). Islam is no different.

But what unites us the words of Quran, the 5 pillars, our oath to accept Allah SWT as our God and Mohammad SWS as the Rasool Allah (the Prophet)

That in itself is enough to negate any other differences in interpretation.

In short, you are denying Fundamentalist's claim that Islam is a complete way of life?

If Islam is a complete way of life(atleast to a muslim), then all muslims should live in a similar fashion. If then dont do so, then one of them is wrong.

Of course, if the topic is inconvenient to some guys, we stop the discussion, and let everyone enjoy their dogmas.:)

Abu,

if you are saying that Islam is just like anyother religion. Then I would agree with you. But the scepticsm comes when Islam is asserted as a complete way of life.

are all 160 million Indian Muslims living a same life?

. . . .
Who are you reffering to? all the 160million muslims? Then you are wrong, they have differing beliefs based on the sect and school.

Ask all 160 million Indian Muslims and they will tell you that "Islam is complete way of life" from all school and sect but still you will see difference in between their way of live.

Then someone must be wrong. Either one sect or the other. Either sunnis, shias or others(whether India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghansitan, Iran,..etc), only one of them can be correct, if they claim that Islam is a complete way of life.

If muslims say that Islam is like any other religion, then there is a chance that all the sects may be right in one or the other.

people interpret religion differently....how can there be total uniformity in rigid intepretation among so many people?

Obviously people will implement it differently. My main point was that there are certain core and crucial aspects that distinguish believers from non-believers. And those lie in the tenets, among other things.

It is the Western media which still calls the TTP as "Islamists"

they arent Islamists. Everything they are doing is anti-Islam. It's just a cover. Certain anti-Pakistan elements are funding these groups and arming/supporting the handlers. And I think we have a good idea who would want to harm Pakistan.

I agree completely with you. But that proves that Islam is just like any another religion with mulitiple interpretations, schools, sects... but with some unifying tenets. In this scenario, Islam cannot boast of being a complete way of life, because there are different interpretations for what this complete way is.

hmm...no, they call them Pakistani taliban.

But TTP is nevertheless islamists to core. I know this fact quite well.

Everything they are doing is anti-Islam. It's just a cover.

Can you name the anti-islamic activities of TTP?

Yes, we know the prominent ones. But there are several other non-prominent anti-pakistani elements and I dont want to reveal them , lest I get in trouble with my job.:smokin:
