Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday announced that he will address the nation ‘soon’ on the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, urging people to follow the safety instructions issued by the government.

Taking to Twitter, the prime minister informed his followers that he was “personally overseeing measures to deal with COVID 19”.

“While there is a need for caution there is no need for panic,” he tweeted.

PM Imran said that his government was alert to the dangers of the virus and that “sufficient protocols” for the safety of the people had been put in place by the government.

exactly, take measure instead of getting panic . avoid unnecessary contact , keep 6 foot distance . Try wash hand and don't touch side rails of stairways and wash your grocery before cooking . If not even over 100 degree temp is enough to kill virus.

WHO has certified Pakistan's efforts amongst the best in the world.

IK should make those exceptional measures public. This will enable other nations to benefit in safeguarding their citizens.

If there were any efforts that would have been through NDMA or PDMA. Stil if he has made any efforts in personal capacity he should list at least one of it.. in case he's ashamed to list all of them.
Since 2 days, I'm campaigning to register FIR against Imran Khan and Zulfi Bukhari for actively conspiring genocide in Pakistan, and today he's tweeting actually that about all what he has done.

Don't worry because ...

What he really means is PANIC. Start buying and stocking up of essentials , get your food and water stocked up and all your medical essentials. What are you going to do when the shops shut down, the buses, trains and airplanes stop and who knows water and power are cut as workers stay home? In fact tell the whole of Pakistan to PANIC, Corona is coming to town.

He merely followed protocols that are being advised by WHO from day one. All world leaders are playing possum or busy doing publicity stunts during this crisis lacking will to make tough decisions. Pakistan took unpopular measures from day one such as stopping its citizens from coming back from china without completing quarantine period while entire world laughed at us. Pakistan would have remained virus free if Iranis hadn't hidden scale of plague in their country. Safe to say Iran has been the biggest source of spread of virus even bigger than China.
