Islamabad: Federal Minister for Water and Power Naveed Qamar on Monday said that there would be no load shedding across the country from Tuesday.

Responding a call attention notice during National Assembly’s session, he said that there would be no load shedding throughout the country. He said that the line losses of the distribution companies had been controlled to a great extend.

However, Karachi Electric Supply Company was quick enough to come up to clarify that the announcement had nothing to do with KESC. It made it clear that the load shedding being carried out in Karachi would continue as usual. The company’s spokesman said that if additional gas was made available to the company, then the load shedding’s duration would be curtailed.

he is quite right up to some extent, remeber whole month of november and december there was 24 hour supply of electricity. But load shedding started once they start cleaning rivers and dams. That cleaning work must have been completed plus circular debt must have been decreased some how so no more load shedding until first week of march when weather will start to become warm.

There's still load-shedding in Peshawar, please confirm if it is still in other parts of the country.

For the past week, there has hardly been any load shedding here in Lahore. Lights are out for a maximum of 2 or 3 hours, but all this is just topi drama to gain support from the voters as elections are nearing. What the Honourable Minister failed to mention is that this end to load shedding is a temporary solution till the elections and not a structural solution.

So it means we'll have less load-shedding in the coming summers - at least.

Now the electricity will be back to normal since the election days are near?. WTH... where did this power generation comes from now? and as usual the innocent countrymen will fall for this gimmicky and would vote once again for these baboons.
