As much as I would like to agree with you my English freund, money factor is a problem for Lebanon it seems, as you would be familiar with budget cuts in your own country.

Lebanon is not known for its cordial ties with United States and hence it is quite unlikely that they would choose an American system.

Dear alien swiss, don't you read the title?
What does budget had to do with their rejection?
And Gripen is not very American.. and i hope you know that.
There got to be other reasons... beyond your comprehension.
