Japan was pushed out of the Chinese mainland, even before America dropped the nukes.

We became a permanent member of the UNSC, because we were on the winning side of WW2. The losers (Japan and Germany) didn't get a seat.

Even today, Japan is forced to have a "pacifist constitution" and are not allowed to have nuclear weapons.

FYI, we do not need ICBMs to hit your cities. You have ICBMS to deter Unkill Sam. We don't really need them. They will be more of a TD for us if we ever develop them.
We are not talking about invading China, so we don't care of PLA war capabilities. You can have a god-dammed B2 spirit bomber . . . who cares.
