Pathankot probe: NIA chief says Pak response on Letters Rogatory awaited

A response from Pakistan on Letters Rogatory seeking information and interrogation of Jaish-e-Mohammed terror group chief Maulana Masood Azhar and his brother Abdul Rauf in connection with the Pathankot air base strike is awaited, the NIA chief said on Thursday night, even as it probed the role of other “state actors” in the attack.

NIA director general Sharad Kumar said that the role of the Jaish chief and his brother, besides two other handlers, has been established and all the evidence have been shared with Pakistan.

“We are still awaiting a response from them,” Kumar said, adding two Letters Rogatories and several reminders to Islamabad remain unanswered.

Asked whether NIA has given a clean chit to Pakistani agencies, including ISI, in the matter, Kumar said “the case is still under investigations. We have not given any clean chit to anyone. We are examining the role of other players which include state actors” who might have been involved in the conspiracy behind the attack.

He, however, did not elaborate on the “state actors”.

He denied media reports that quoted him as saying that a clean chit has been given to Pakistani agencies in the Pathankot attack case.

Four terrorists were killed when they carried out a suicide attack on the strategic Indian Air Force base in Pathankot during the intervening night of January one and two. Seven security personnel were also killed during the 80-hour-long gunbattle.

Well obviously due to vested business interests. He has (personal not nation) business interests, hidden properties, and secret dealings in case he has to run off in exile with a lot of countries which is why there is no foreign ministry.

You have a PM whose factories probably has more Indian employees than Pakistani.

A PM that runs out of country on basic medical check ups ending up buying suits and watches with that excuse while people in own country often sleep hungry.

The question you asked is wrong. What you should be asking, how come such a terrible person keeps coming back? Do people really love to be so miserable that this is the only choice they always have? If so, well deserved in my opinion.

Sir for that "trial and access" you need to show the soled evidence not some fake propaganda or a cheap movie story , I am afraid I never saw any report on this , Keep in mind soled and concrete evidence.
And if you guys think you have the soled evidence and Pakistan not co-operating take Pakistan to international court of Justice will you do that

Let me try one more time.

Before fair trial to occur , we need evidences not only in Indian side but also in PAKISTANI SOIL. Which means

1. Give Indian JIT access to Pakistan to collect evidences and witness in Pakistan as India has provided to Pak.It means giving NIA chance to grill Azhar Masoods and his JEM associates and where abouts of attackers family.
2. THEN we (Indian Pakistani JIT ) would lay those investigation results before Pakistani or Indian court for fair trial.

Chill Guys he said nothing new.... He said no involvement of GOVERNMENT of Pakistan but Azhar Masood and his brother Of Jais e Mohammad are responsible.

The day attackers chooses Pathan Kot to attack IAF, the day this attack created suspicions.

Both these aircrafts are obsolete and pose NO threat to Pakistan. These aircrafts are still in IAF due to its lagging Modernization program & non availability of replacement aircraft.

Why will ISI lose precious assets on junk like that which is already rusting? If I was planning such attack then I might have planned to take out Indian fleet of P8 ASWA or AWACS.

Just like they did in our case. The manner how this attack took place, how Indian armed forces played cricket test match with militants and the way Pakistan investigation team was first not allowed to visit the base, and when they were allowed they were given only one hour to make a tour to entire base........

Pathan Kot was a false flag meant to keep Modi policy strick towards Pakistan.
