No innovation? ARM today suspended the business tie with Huawei. US ban affects Arm chip designs because many of them were originated in the US. How will Huawei own chips survive without ARM license?

All patents and product trademarks held by US companies, individuals or groups are declared invalid in China, and all Chinese companies and foreign companies in China can develop new patents based on US patents that have been declared invalid in China.
This way all countries can make progress.

I don't think so. I think Chinese cores will flourish thanks to this. The market share Huawei lost will be taken over by the oppos and xiaomis and OnePlus. But I believe the Chinese cores will now have a chance to develop, previously only used for strategic projects and military.

China has 750 millions smartphone users. If Huawei target 15% of the market share, supported by China government and their people + by killing Iphone in China's market then it will be more than enough.

Hey let's be real, of course there will be short term pain. But for Huawei to fall? You need to understand China is the largest telco market not the US. The smaller guys might use Android and Arm for exports, but what about the domestic market? China gov can now classify Android and Arm as national security threat, they won't annnounce it but it is bound to happen. It's not us banning their tech now, it's them banning it from us, no choice but to adapt right? Previously we are bound by open trade principles so we can't ban Android and Arm, now it's them telling us to ban them.

Chinese normally do things quietly. You won't know it until you are killed.

Huawei is not Nokia.

Actually apple will be the biggest victim here. Huawei will take over their market share in China.

This is so correct, China will have to work on it own the CPU Architect, instruction set and then make a compiler for it. China has done the same for its home growth supercomputer, so the expertise and experience is there.
A grand project for China CPU, OS to create such an ecosystem should be announced by China by CPC already.
