last of elections haa proven you wrong instead, in a less educated & poor nation , it doesnt matter what democrazy it is? as long as it can gives the poors the bread?
They have disappointed me, but I still have faith in democracy.
You can't expect things to change so soon, especially since the civilian establishment has no real foundations on which it can build upon, thanks to constant turmoil incomplete terms and military takeovers.
Give it a while.
thats why in this election peoples voted for 1000 rupees, but not for change? right
cause they just need that?
also damocrazy wasnt succsessfull because all these politicians themselves were pushing each others for power?
So they got it wrong, and the way a nation is to progress it learn from it's mistakes and vote more wisely the next time.
It's a long and painful journey, but worth it in the end.
There's no point of having a good leader ruling over a nation of idiots who still haven't learn, leaders can onbly do so much to make a nation, it's commoners that have to change in order for it to progress. Wherever you go in Pakistan, people cry rivers about their problems, and then end with 'of only we had
someone to fix so and so problems', they are lazy, they think that God will send some sort of Massiah to save them, while they sit back and watch as they become rich with no effort. These people aren't fit to have good leaders, if they don't change, how will their nation?
dont blame the failures to armed forces, who are just there when, there was no one?
be it a earthquack or floods or even doctors strikes?
I don't blame armed forces, they've been better to us than our civilian leaders, however, their constant takeovers have damaged us, and they too are not some sort of ultimate beings incapable of making mistakes, they too have made mistakes. I wont blame anyone.
However, in terms of having an established form of governance, with capable arms of governance...
We've wasted the last 5 years, there is no political stability in Pakistan, there foundations of governance are missing, that is the grass root level problem, without this problem dealt with, we cannot hope to progress in the long term.
