Right now, unfortunately that is the case. US did same mistake in Afghan-Pakistan policy and headed towards dead end until Pakistan forced and US realized - India actually hurting US interest. Now for example, Pakistan although part of South Asian policy is handled above pay grade of this indian assistant secretary of state; by Secretary of state, national security org and POTUS himself. Indians are raising hell about it because that detachment essentially cut india off from piggy backing US to Central Asia. That part of the story teaches us something very important, we need to elevate our strategic importance and we have all the ingredients except leadership at the moment.

Remember earlier this year when the US signed a deal with Australia to station a couple of thousands of Marines in Darwin? The number was never over a thousand. The 650 marines that were there last time have gone home - to the US. As we speak, there is NO marines stationed in Darwin Australia. The rotation will come only in November in limited numbers.

trust me idune bhai ,the credit for this goes to ex foreign minister mrs. Hina rabbani khar & Pakistan's ambassador to the U.S Mrs. Sherry rehman the way they utilized the pressure point "Glocs" blockade (The vital Afghan-Pakistani Ground Lines of Communications (GLOCs) were shut off for 7 months) & this pressure point worked wonders in favour of Pakistan in the af-pak strategy , Hina rabbani khar took a very risky chance knowing full well the dangers of imposing a ground blockade on the U.S & Nato but then every country has to make tough choices @ times as there were no better alternatives either & the nation salutes her today for taking a stand, & the results = U.S-Taliban negotiations, what Hina rabbani khar did for Pakistan , her name will be written in golden ink in the history books of Pakistan's foreign policy

I predicted this earlier in many different threads. The US finds in India an enemy to China and an enemy to Islam, all combined in one, a perfect ally. Jews gave them outsourcing jobs, now more jobs will be given in manufacturing as they move away from China. Now it is time for a Sino-Muslim alliance to counter this evil axis. Muslim nations need to work with China to increase influence in 3 key regions, South East and North East Asia, Eurasia (Russia and other former Soviet states) and mainly Christian and animist Sub-saharan Africa. And with EU, if Sino-Muslim alliance can keep them as neutral as possible and move them away from zionist led US and Indian axis, that will bring a total doom for them.

This India-America evil axis has been blown out of proportion considering how much of trade and investment between US-China goes on. You should remove religious tainted glasses with $ tainted glasses and you will see a huge market next door.

Americans see a big potential for their products which are in reach of Indian middle class which is bigger than 300 million now. They see huge energy shortfalls for our country as we move forward. They can supply the technology and equipment. They see a number of fields they can contribute like pharma, IT, nuclear, automotive etc. There is no evil intent here or strategic depth here.

What we need is south asian integration in terms of trade and people movement. We just made it duty free for most of your garment exports which is your main staple in terms of foreign exchange. Your garment exports to India saw a growth of 40 to 50% this year. Then there is investment from India in your power sector. So I see a lot of synergy in our trade interactions but sadly our people perceptions have been skewed because of border shoot outs. Now I hear about joint patrol with your BDR.

What muslim alliance are you talking about?? Do you see it in middle east??

KSA is the biggest ally of US in middle east next to Israel. They don't see it in religious overtones but who will serve their best interests in that region.
