A shocking story took place in China. A nine-year-old girl gave birth to a healthy baby in Changchun Hospital in China’s northeastern province of Jilin. Doctors performed Cesarean section on the little mother after she started having contractions.

The baby-boy was born weighing 2.75 kg. Medics said that both the mother and child were “fine,” China’s City Evening News portal said.

The medics of the hospital did not give any other comments to reporters. No wonder, because the subject of early pregnancy is tabooed in the communist country.

A correspondent of a local newspaper penetrated into the hospital twice in an attempt to see the young mother, but his efforts returned no result. He only managed to find out that the girl looked older for her nine years. Nothing is known about the details of the child’s pregnancy.

The police are trying to find the father of the girl’s child – they have already questioned the members of the young mother’s family. A sexual relationship with females under 14 years of age is considered a severe sex crime in China.

Statistics says that Chinese girls get pregnant and subsequently try to make an abortion a lot more frequently than it is believed. Chinese schoolgirls make about 30 percent of all abortions performed in the country. Female college students add another 20 percent to this number.

In 1910, a Chinese boy aged 9 and a Chinese girl aged 8 became the nation’s youngest parents ever. The youngest mother in the USSR was a six-year-old girl, who gave birth to a dead child in 1930. The little girl had been raped by her own grandfather.

In April of 2000, a Russian girl from the Rostov region gave birth to her child when she was eight. The child’s father was a 13-year-old boy.

The world record for ‘youngest mother’ belongs to Peru, where Lina Medina, aged only five, delivered a baby in 1939.

but the report did not mention any foul play, rape and the sort!

all things put aside, a woman should not give birth at that young age, it is too risky, and an abortion, not without dangers itself, must be done as soon as possible if something like this happens.

Such a procedure can prevent many accidents, many wrongs!

but it will leave a huge emotional scar, forever as well

I'll give some background for readers to better understand this situation. Yes there is a rising number of unwanted pregnancies, but this is not unusual. Let me give some of my background info:

Growing up in North America as a young kid, I was shocked to discover so many kids in Jr high and High school got pregnant. it was shocking, about 3-5% of the girls got pregnant and dropped out of school. The actual numbers are probably higher, as many get abortions and some don't go to school (drop outs).

Now travelling around, I noticed the same alarming trend in Mexico as in the United States, UK, Belarus, Europe, etc. I was hoping Asia wouldn't have the same problem these "Western" places had, but they are catching the 'disease'....

The numbers are due to several factors: large cities, parents going away to work, increased acceptance of promiscuity, etc.

Now, to put things into perspective for our pak.def members. This is not shocking in Russia, as Russia is in a far more severe situation, they have a much higher rate of unwanted pregnancies, teen pregnancies and abortions. I mention Russia because this written in pravda.ru.

So returning to my observations, this is a key reason why CPC is restricting the flow of pornography. It's really simple: Monkey see, Monkey do. People when it comes to sexual urges are no more refrained than animals.

So are Muslim nations any better? Unfortunately not, and in many cases much worse. I'll mention several Islamic-dominated nations I am familiar with:

a) Malaysia -- it was an interesting experience for me to notice that Muslims here are like people elsewhere, promiscuous.

b) Indonesia -- lots of extra-marital affairs (not as much as in Europe or USA of course, but many none the less)

c) Egypt -- rampant unwanted pregnancies and abortions

d) India -- same problem, but more severe and hidden from world media

THIS IS A PROBLEM ALL NATIONS FACE!

The point I am getting across it this problem is very severe. So severe in the UK for example, that teenage pregnancies, drop-outs, and abortions are threatening the fabric of society. Though I haven't been to Pakistan, I would be very much correction to assume that Pakistan also suffers from this severe social problem (much more than is admitted). Please understand I am not picking on Pakistan. I've heard many times from Muslims who complain about non-Muslims as 'sexual perverts', when they too are sexual perverts. Truth is we all have sexual desires, you me and the next guy/gal. It only takes 5 minutes to change a life, or to create a life.

I don't think a girl's reproductive system is capable until at least age 7-8 (several cases in America). But like all organisms, anomalies do occur.

This said, I saw this news in Chinese news week ago.

Pakistan is no exception

EmO GiRl, I know of that case where he locked her in the basement for decades! And there's several more recent cases (in Germany, Italy and Oz). I brought up that topic because the zio-western media loves to prey on ANY negative news concerning Asia. When I was in different countries, I pay attention to local news and zio-western mouthpieces ---> always the same negative propaganda against us non-whites. Why don't they report on the positive news, and there's no shortage of good stuff....


I know a woman/girl's ovaries are active even when they are still in their mother's womb, so technically it should be possible..... I've having doubts as well.

I don't think the girl was 5, maybe she looked small like she was 5. Many people, especially natives aboriginals in South America (and Mexico) are very tiny. Because they are poor and malnurished they have very small build, and these tribals may not be registered in government (because they give birth outside of hospital).

puberty is not "just" chronological! it very much psychological!

(this description is just a guide, not exact to the letter)

in the 1800s (but not in the west), when promiscuity and general know how about male female S** related issues was not known to the general folks that well until they got their late teens and even after, the psychological / emotional part did not develop until after a later age.

today, we let kids watch Bollywood and so on, children 4-5 dancing to a lady clad in a bra and minimals, chanting romantic poetry!

provide them a few years later with male female interaction opportunities and theory is put into practice.

I am not joking! this is physiological an psychiatric science

Bottom line:

exposure to se* related stuff at an early age has caused puberty to onset much earlier than the past! ofcourse a girl who hits puberty can give birth as well!!

PS: I cant be specific but, I have seen so myself here in Pakistan the same thing.

I think the article is shocking because of the age of the mother. It is irrelevant that this occured in China as you correctly pointed out that this is a global phenomenon. In China as per the article , the minimum age of consent for a girl to engage in sexual intercourse is 14 and it is great that the authorities do take a hard line in ensuring that this age limit is enforced. Most western nations set the age limit at 16 and in most countries it is a major offence to engage in sexual intercourse with an underage girl. The issue is that despite governments and society in almost all of the world's nations taking a strict stance against sex with minor girls, there still exist people and communities who go against the moral views of society. I disagree when you say that it is a "western phenomenon". I also can't agree when you point out that **** is an influence. The article cites cases since 1910 when minor girls were impregnated. **** was not as widespread or easily available then as it is now. Paedophilia is a sexual sickness which usually affects (but is not exclusive to) men in a society. As long as civilised society through the mechanism of their laws imposes strict penalties on such paedophiles then that is adequate.

Interesting. Is this why many (responsible) Pakistanis are against Bollywood?!

I guess for us older adults, a little Bollywood Masala is fun and stimulating, but we often forget that kids may watch as well. China and Japan share many things, almost nearly identical (with local 'flavors'). But one thing they differ is openness in sexuality.
