Nine killed as two MI-17 choppers of IAF collide mid-air

I heard in news that one of the helicopter was caught in a electricity line, swirled around and took the other chopper with it.

That is sad but show how much indian army is prepared for 2 war fronts at a same time,

Old equipments and big kickbacks is the cause.

Unfortunatly you put things as complex as helicopters with millions of parts in the air were seconds can mean the difference between life and death there is always the potential for catastrophe, put two helos in the same bit of airspace and ask them to fly close togther the risks go up many fold. I hope lessons are learnt but nothing will bring back these brave men.

Unlikely, these men belonged to the elite TACDE unit of the IAF, lack of training is incredibly unlikely to be the cause similarly cheap parts are unlikely to be the cause.
