Nigeria has decided to accelerate their payments for the JF-17. Originally the 2018 budget just had one payment of around $35 m, but the revised budget has that $35 m plus another $47 m for the JF-17s.

With an earlier payment of $14 m in 2017 and now $80 m in 2018, Nigeria has paid for their 3 JF-17s ... their program should begin rolling at PAC now (if not already). @Oscar @Gryphon

IIRC it was around $15 m for 2016. So it's $15 (2016) + $14 (2017) + $80 m (2018). So $35 m a piece with spare parts, weapons, training and GSE is reasonable.

I think its inappropriate to second guess the price without full knowledge of the actual package deal, it just creates wrong info on the net.

A few weeks back, I was flipping the satellite channels and NTA (Nigerian TV) was having their news broadcast; they showed Mushaq fly by. I think there were 5 or so, cant recall of hand. The picture footage is really bad what they are broadcasting on the dish.
