Nigeria budgets additional payment for JF-17 order from Pakistan

If 16 jf package costed 560 million as stated for the first customer then 3 Ac first r Nigeria with the same package will be 105 million

Or 16 million fly away cost as stated for first customer then 3x16 or 48 Million for 3 aircraft plus what ever is needed for weapons, training and support/spares for x years

Very good idea as already been done by Russia, however you can also add Sudan also as future customer.

Although Barter Trade seems good but it has Cons/Limitations/uncertainty too because of Fire, short circuit, spill, Flood etc at storage facilities and other things. Money in the bank has no such restraints.

So this is only partial payment made to Pakistan by Nigeria for buying JF-17s.

Nigeria should us give us Oil in case they have budget limitation , we can use oil
It would make sense for Nigeria to give us 2.5 Billion dollar worth oil , and we can setup a credit for their defence purchase all done in barter trade manner that way , every year a small batch can be delievred for Nigerian Airforce modernization effort

No need to use currency

Nigeria has decided to accelerate their payments for the JF-17. Originally the 2018 budget just had one payment of around $35 m, but the revised budget has that $35 m plus another $47 m for the JF-17s.

With an earlier payment of $14 m in 2017 and now $80 m in 2018, Nigeria has paid for their 3 JF-17s ... their program should begin rolling at PAC now (if not already). @Oscar @Gryphon

Assuming it’s 16 million per plane like Myanmar

Rest for training weapons etc unless Myanmar deal had different terms

16x5 is 80 million for planes and test for other items
