Nigel Farage: £350 million pledge to fund the NHS was 'a mistake'

.
Watching a debate on tv.Britain lost today what it would have paid to the EU for 15 years.Great success !

Also, saw Farage bactracking on his promises when interviewed.Priceless moment when a bewildered reporter asks him :" Now you tell us it was a lie, after we're OUT????".....Farage (dead serious): "yes".....LMFAO

.
Redirecting British tax payers money from Brussels to NHS is the only thing that counts. We're not talking about financial issues here, we're talking about sovereignty, democracy and will of the People.

britain lost nothing.. if stock market bounces back to higher level, Britain wont 'gain' anything.. we need to see how the real economy performs.. if market got the prediction of result wrong.. I dont see why it can get the prediction about fallout right.. its speculation anyway...

dont compare the cash transfer to brussels with market speculated 'gain' or 'loss'

This is exactly the blind attitude to what you're facing that brought this misery upon you.Carry on sinking while pretending all it's ok.

lol.. I simply said wait and watch... blind will be following the market for everything. we dont want market sentiment to affect real economy, that will be tragedy. If real economy functions normally, traders will be buying again and saying oops we got it wrong, again. :)

I did not vote or registered for voting (Although I do have a British passport), so I cannot say my view counts.

But in a economic point of view, what UKIP (or Brexiter) asking is simply impossible to pertain. On one hand they want to lose the baggage of EU, but at the same time, they wanted to negotiate a deal with EU that make sense after they left. Anybody could see this is a big mistake and I can see why David quit right after voting leave. Britain alone cannot negotiate a appreciated deal as it was when they were in EU, that means there are no more cheap labour from Eastern Member to offset the high land price and competitive edge.

The UK need to be quite strong to be in a position to negotiate a good deal with France and Germany headed EU, and the UK is not that strong to have that position to speak even eye to eye with Germany and France, let alone getting a piece of that EU pies when it come.

What's more? We saw Scotland and Gibraltar both voted heavily in favour staying in EU, what would complete the picture is that Scotland and Gibraltar both hold a referendum again in the near future and get independence from England, it's seems strange that Brits have totally forgot how close Scotland came to leave the Union in the first place, if they hold another referendum soon, Scotland leaving the Union is nothing but guaranteed By then the UK would be truly Fuked.

Once again the smart people lose, and the people who blindly believe empty promise win the day, now it's time to reap what you sowed

.
Actually the figure is 100 million pounds a week that most leave campaigners actually promised.

firstly how did you get your hands on a british passport? im sure your from austrailia right........?

apparently theres apetition out calling for a second referendum it has reached 100k signatures meaning it must be debated in parliment. also most people were retards under the impression if the vote leave then all the migrants will go and we we will magically be come british again but what they dont get is that the land border from france the actuall uk border is in france not in the uk so this means we will be getting migrant camps. and yes the scots and northen ireland wanted to remain so chances the scots will hold a referendum and then were totally screwed thanks to the tories for bringing up a referendum in the first place and for annoying the snp.

also how easy if for a british citezen to get and austrailian citizenship ? how expensive is stuff in the land oz (not sydney)
hows the health care? is it private or do you have something like the nhs?
whats the tax rate if your earning over £80k+

. .
He effectively did say that in his party's manifesto but not in the Leave campaign. Still an idiot

lol, that was a long story........

My mother was living in Hong Kong during the colonial time, and she applied for a British Overseas Territories Citizenship during her stay, so when I was born, I was inherited that status, and hence I was born with a British Overseas Territories Citizenship. and then she moved away to Australia a few years after I was born.

During the 1997 Change over, all of them were convert to either British National Overseas or British Overseas Citizens and I was in the latter class as I wasn't born in Hong Kong to a Chinese Parent (My mother was a Vietnamese in nationality and my dad was an American and I was born in the US), and When the nationality act 2002 come into effect, UK start granting full British Citizenship to BOC Holder, so I registered and stayed in UK for 1 year when I was working with DCATS as a Civilian Contractor, they stamped my passport with an ILR stamp and become a full Citizens that way.

I actually have voting right before I was converted into Full British Citizenship, I can serve in the British Armed Force or elect in any level of British Government with my BOTC passport :) After getting British Citizenship, I move in with my wife in Sweden for 2 years and got Swedish citizenship that way lol, so it does not quite matter to me whether or not the UK leave the EU...........

It would be the same requirement for everyone to migrate to Australia. Unless you have some connection (like you have distant relative in Australia prior to Australia being federalize, the same procedure and requirement are followed by a British Subject than other national (Say Chinese or Malaysian). And it is actually quite hard these day to get an Australian Permanent Visa or Citizenship because the government flown on immigrant and claim we have too many already (Even tho the size of Australia is comparable to that of US and we only have 24 million people)...

You can either migrate as a Skill Migrant, or Sponsored Person, basically for skill migrant you will need a skill that recognized in Australia and a Job Offer, or you can study in Australia and then look for job that way with a temporary visa. Sponsorship is a bit easier, but that would require a sponsor, either Federal/State government or your relative in Oz. But then you will still need a job offer. The only country we gave concession to about migration is New Zealand. Which they have a special visa that have the same right (minus benefit) as an Australian PR, but you don't need anything to get that visa, they will grant you that visa by simply having enter Australia with a New Zealand Passport, the same deal the Kiwi gave us Ozzie, so I can literally live and work in NZ without any visa, simply using my Oz passport

Stuff are quite expensive in Oz. Don't mind Sydney, you are looking at 300,000 AUD for an 2 bedder older apartment and about 100 to 150 a week living expense, and if you rent, your weekly expense goes up to 400-500, more if you rent a house. In Sydney, a house will cost you 800,000 AUD to 1,000,000 AUD in general, and over 2 mil for primal suburb, supermarket have the same price but travel is going to be a bitch in Sydney, unless you drive. To rent an Apartment will cost you about 450 a week and to rent a house will cost you anywhere between 600 to 800 a week.

We have Medicare in Australia, which means any green medicare card holder have free universal health care, that means GP is free, Hospital Out Patient Clinic is free, and almost all the test done is free (like X-Ray, Ultrasound and so on) Specialist Treatment is not free, and Medicare will provide a safety net for you which I think they will contribute anywhere between 50 to 75% if I remember correctly, and you have to pay the rest, either by cold hard cash or you have a medical insurance. Dental and Mental Health is outside Medicare control and they are pay service unless you have insurance)

There are some exception tho, pension card holder can do more with medicare than us green card holder, also veteran benefit means all vet pay nothing when you use veteran card with medicare, also, drugs and therapy are subsidised, again with green card capped at $37 per does and I think $10 for pensioner and $0 for veteran. Also, emergency treatment is free.

Pension pays $470 per fortnights, and there are 3 different type of pension. New Start, which is for normal people who cannot get a job, old age pensioner which kicks in when you are 65 or 70 (I forgot about that too) and disable pension if you have any kind of physical or mental disability. You can also get all kind of subsidiary on top of your pension if you are qualified. You can get Travel Concession and allowance, rental allowance, utilities allowance and so on, In all, if you are in a very bad shape and you can claim all of them, you will get pay about A$1,300 a months for doing nothing.

But on the other hand, tax is crazy in Australia, we works in a sliding scale, depend on how much you earn, your tax reflect on that. This is what ATO said

0 – $18,200 Nil

$18,201 – $37,000 19c for each $1 over $18,200

$37,001 – $80,000 $3,572 plus 32.5c for each $1 over $37,000

$80,001 – $180,000 $17,547 plus 37c for each $1 over $80,000

$180,001 and over $54,547 plus 45c for each $1 over $180,000

So if you earn 80,000 GBP which would be about 147,000 AUD, then you pay roughly $17547 + (147,000 - 80,000) * 37ents, you pay 42,337 AUD per year for tax before all the levy Which is about 21,000 GBP. It will be more once you are paying the levy too.

And yeah, I think UK will be seriously fuked if they are intended to go thru the exit, I guess the reason why David Cameron is leaving is so that he don't want his name to be associated to what come next. Will UK survive this is unknown, but one thing for sure, the UK will not be in the same position than before, the Brits have to either more rely on the US now. This is going to be some hard month coming ahead - WINTER IS COMING >..<

well your alright you liv in the land of oz and have a contingency plan in the land of blondes, lol.

lets just hope we can get a second vote going as most people dont know why they were voting leave in the first place. given a second vote the results would dramatically change.
