NHK official: Japan will never forget US nuclear attacks

Another Grand Historian. Manchurian's native were Tungusic people, they speak different language with Han. Their culture are not part of Sino Sphere. They are just another nomadic tribe similar like the Mongol. They are akin to Korean.

Saying Manchu are Han similar like saying Vietnamese and their kin, native in Guangdong and GuangXi are Han Chinese. Which is not. Though, Vietnamese culture is much more resemblance of Sino than Manchu people.

The Han Chinese origin were among Chinese warring states, everything else were considered barbarians.

You want to know about the Chinese, ask us, the Viet. We lived with them 1000 years. We walked in their gut.
Yeah, cuz you Viets were ancient Chinese separatists:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

The Brits burned Washington D.C. Think we still forgive them for that?
You are talking about something happen over 200 years ago? LOL

Absolutely unfounded. Your bigoted opinions are coming out again. And , please, don't try to speak on behalf of Japanese, because you are not a Japanese. Thanks.
Why are you angry when I speak the truth? Remember it was the words of a Japanese, Mr. Naoki Hyakuta, a Japanese.

@xunzi , are you really trying to be serious or poking fun? Hyakuta Naoki is known for his ultra-nationalistic viewpoints. The man even denies Nanjing occurred. So you're basing your judgment on the opinions of an extremist. Hyakuta and his lot make up an insignificant minority in Japan. Personally, I believe he should commit hara kiri and do all of us a favor.

Japanese will revenge. this is their culture. they are waiting for time. US should know this

Revenge ? Only in your dreams. Japan and the United States are strategic allies, with overlapping security interests and concerns. Long gone are the days of unchecked ultranationalism and imperialist agendas. Japan is a democracy, centered on the rule of law.

I wish I can get into your brain and heart and really know your true feeling about American atrocity against Japan. Being a proud people like you are, I cannot imagine you are happy with US station troop in your soil and drop nuke on Japan in WWII. If we cannot forget Nanjing Massacre, you think you will do better than us and forget about the Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Get real, my friend. LOL

The Atom Bombs were a blessing and a curse. A curse because it silenced over 140,000 Japanese lives at once, thousands more due to radiation. Yet it was a blessing, because it was catalyst for the Emperor to personally intervene and end the destructive conflict. Even while knowing that the brave sons of Japan were dying and fighting for Him. It was a blessing because it , indirectly, led to the salvation of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Japanese civilians.

And you are talking about something that happened about 70 years ago.

Correct. The war has been over for 7 decades now, many of the younger generation such as myself have no inkling of the war era, we grew up in the 80s, 90s.

And to address our colleague @xunzi , the United States military stationed in Japan provide an added military protection for Japan. It enforces the overall strength of the JGSDF. Given the ever-changing geopolitics, former enemies can become the best of friends / partners. And the world has changed in such a way that both Japan and the United States have collude with each other to ensure stability.

Japanese people think highly of America and Americans. So I don't know what @xunzi is talking about. Perhaps he wants to spread rumors that we Japanese dislike America and our American friends. Well, he's going to be greatly surprised to know that the reality is the antithesis of his erroneous perception(s).
