that was 20yrs ago....and even those people are long dead now....
TTP and afghan taliban are two different things....afghan taliban has ISI backing, TTP does not, TTP and pakistan are enemies.
then there's local ISI-backed groups, lashkar-e-taiba etc aimed at india, kashmir etc..
If this mosque/madrasa is one of those, nothing can be done about it, it's state policy to support/operate such mosques and madrasas. The thing is that in a pak-india war, india will always have a numbers advantage, that's where paramilitary/jihadis come in handy and pakistan has a lot of experience with such tactics. So in a way these mosques/madrasas are simply assets/extensions of pakistan's security forces. They would work like reserves, and keep the india threat alive whether it's actually there or not....
If Haqqanis and mullah omars are alive today, what makes you think those Pakistanis who fought alongside Afghan Taliban died out by now? And you follow an outdated and deeply flawed ideology. If India sends in ground troops, we can always use nukes. Get up to date, it's no longer 60s and 70s anymore. Any ground invasion by India would lead to international intervention to prevent a nuclear war in the region.
And no these people are not assets in any way. They've become so powerful that they're above the common law now. They can literally kill you, and policemen wouldn't dare arrest them. Try messing with them in rural Punjab, and see for yourself. These people are all mercenaries, making money along with gaining power by brainwashing young and destitute people. The truth is, these people were made to get money from Saudi Arabians in the first place. Pakistan has never had a shortage of civilian volunteers. In 1965 war, Pir Pagaro's Hurs fought alongside Pakistan army in Rajasthan but of course the text books won't ever tell you that.
