News: Nigeria Orders 7 more JF17s

No, JF-17/FC-1 is produced by China-Pakistan together.
Agreed. We have produced the parts for the Myanmar planes and the Chinese have certainly been involved with the Nigerian order. There are subtle changes ( some avionics, chinese ejection seat to bame a few) but not to qualify the 2 as different aircrafts or variants.

The ones exported to Myanmar were produced at the CAC plant exclusively. They were even equipped with Chinese ejection seat/targeting pods. Pakistan produced Jf-17s use Martin Baker and Aselpod.
I remember seeing a burmese jeff at kamra on a news show.

Not two versions. Same aircraft, only few parts changed to overcome sanctions from western countries, like British ejection seats replaced with Chinese ones in the Myanmar and Argentina models.
The name changes depending on wether China delivers them or Pakistan as China designates the same aircraft as FC-1.
Pakistan doesn’t market or deliver them to Myanmar (and won’t to Argentina) so as not to hurt it’s good relations with the UK or because of the Rohingya issue.
The aircraft are still made in Pakistan. Pakistan does market them to everyone else themselves.

Per paf history book Both countries can market but the work share is good for any aircraft produced so current 58/42 still stands after Initial 150 paf /pac has rights to get 100% manufacture but the decision is paf/pac prerogative and will decide if it’s cost effective option

They were definitely produced at PAC under the designation: Ruby

However, they were handed over to Myanmar by China due to Rohingya issue at that time.
The assemblies were made in Pakistan but final systems integration was done in China and delivered from there. Ruby JF-17s have a full Chinese avionics suite with no western components. There were pictures of Ruby unfinished airframes being loaded on planes for being sent to China in news.

Any orders from Argentina will be done exactly the same way, it’s per-customer order + sanction and international relations reasons, Pakistan distanced itself from the deliveries due to the Rohingya Muslims issue, and with Argentina due to good relations with the UK.

Do you have any of those pics? I am still searching for photographic evidence of exactly how have been delivered to Myanmar. Only photos of 5 JF-17M are publically available (4 Alphas and 1 Bravo).

A question, if anyone has the answer ?

What type of weapons Nigeria bought for JF-17s ?. I never saw NAF jets with weapon payloads
- Did they buy SD-10s ?
- what type of Air to Ground ammunition they procured ?
