Beyond all of this, as we had earlier suggested that Greece, Italy and Spain would be nothing as compared to the awakening of people inside the US -- these protest are still small and the corporate media tries not to pay attention to them - but what these people in the streets are posing is a legitimate question --- how is it that those who created the global financial mess are now even richer and the people who had nothing to do with this now have no jobs, cannot make their mortgage and fear for their future

I hope not -- because the question and the concerns they pose are entirely legitimate - I think the people in the US are not the protest in the streets kinds of people, that does not mean that they want the people who have brought the country to a stage that people fear for their future, to not be accountable

On a serious note mate i think we are all suffering from what happened about 5 years ago where in the USA mortgages became so freely and easily available on real estate that was severely overpriced and the rest is history. I realise and understand what you are saying. Has democracy failed these people? I know that people keep saying America wealthy etc etc but in reality the unemployment the $$ and the hardship is getting worse. I really dont see light at the end of the tunnel.
