On topic: Yes India has large economic boom, but where does the money go? In politicians pockets. Countries will never adcanve as long as there is corruption. Look at all the best countries: Switzerland, NZ, Norway, Sweden etc, all have VERY low corruption rates.

Those states looted all Asian countries. . they are thief's. .. Imperial japan in china etc.. British French Dutch Germans etc looted around the globe... US still raping lot countries...

The day we start to give equal respect for all jobs, we can truly hope to change the scenario that you described.Efficiency in any job must be applauded and inefficiency in any job challenged. It's disgusting......and widely prevalent in India. Even people who don't observe the caste system in it's rigidity are prone to be insensitive to those below them on the economic scale while sucking up to those above them. Those in the middle and higher echelons of Government are beyond scrutiny, while those doing menial jobs are seen as the cause of everything bad within the society.

Nothing wrong in caste system in some issues... but some people struck with centuries old attitude. .. the problem with caste arises mostly in remote villages... I never faced such problems. ..

It seems you do not know the situation. There is few North Korea illegal immigrants in China. And even there are many, compared to Chinese population it's a drop in an ocean.

It is true, the economic development in China has not yet fully converted into better lives of ordinary Chinese citizens. This process is undergoing, but is behind the economic growth.

I do not know the situation in India. But also, in my opinion the illegal immigrants may not be the crucial factor, because India also has a huge population, immigrants only contributes a few percents of it.

I am glad this survey was not done just on GDP.
IMO GDP has many deficiencies as a measure of economic well-being. Most often noted is the fact that it can only add which means it makes no distinction between beneficial and harmful economic activity. Gun sales to children, divorce, and oil spills all generate new economic activity and all count as additions to GDP. Accelerating the depletion of precious nonrenewable resources like oil and coal accelerates GDP growth even as it destroys the essential resource on which that growth depends.
The beneficial activities based on caring relationships rather than on financial transactions count for nothing. Parents who care for their own children contribute nothing to GDP. Those who hire a nanny or place their children in day care do. GDP growth measures the rate at which home production and relationships of mutual caring are being eroded and replaced by market relationships.JMHO.
Somehow i feel this survey took into consideration both the economic and social progress. And ergo it is genuine.
