While i was having my weekend nap an american friend of mine whatsapp me picture of NYT full page ad on Kashmir, man if I were Indian I would be having a bad day, sucking on to lemon comes to mind. Courtesy aggressive foreign policy by incumbent Govt and IK for his aggressive speeches/meetings and interviews in New York.

American generally are not aware of world even but frankly my american friends have been going crazy in the week or so now they have realized there is a place in Pakistan/India called Kashmir and it is a nuclear flash point. Cant see the same in my online subscription version but here it is:

Good move.

But the first picture is not of a Kashmiri. Very strong Palestinian looks. I believe they are being used for representational purposes. Still, such mistakes should not be done when most of humankind wants an excuse to ridicule Muslims.

On the other hand, it would have been better to use this money to better arm those who are struggling for freedom more directly.

India has not lost much.

For most of the Muslims in the world, India is pretty much hated. Nothing will change that.

But Muslim monarchs will not do anything because they are bought.

The Muslim world and the few remaining free Muslim leaders need to take action on the ground to bend India. The strength that you see in India for instance is only skin deep. Hindus suffer from a serious inferiority complex. Hence their show of bravado. Once you attack and take Srinagar, there is a high chance that the Muslims here will start a revolt which should end Hindu rule over the subcontinent.
