But he is not arguing about the facts..
I think he knows well the facts and great gap between two countries..
There is no chance for him to win over data
So he just ignore the data and argue on meaningless things.
just ignore him...You will never persuade him...

I will not allow nonsense to goes unchallenged.

China annual military budget 180billion usd, vietnam less than 4billion usd. Enough said.

Wang Cheng-gi from the Satellite Surveying Center of the Department of Land Administration under Taiwan’s Ministry of the Interior, who is in charge of a US$3 million project to produce high-resolution satellite images of the disputed South China Sea, said he was surprised to find out that Vietnam is developing reefs and artificial islands in the disputed Spratlys. He also said that one Vietnamese landfill project spans 11 football fields.

“Everyone is talking about mainland China, but Vietnam is going all out,” Wang said.

We are an archipelago, my man. We must have it. We learned from the Royal Navy ;)

Not all archipelago states have powerful navy and instead a nice big bullseye target in the middle of the sea.

Courtesy of corrupt politicians, misguided crony policies, reluctant Uncle Sam, unpatriotic/apathetic citizens, fifth-column communists, Islamic fundamentalist down south and Binondo-Makati busterds.

Well, you are right and indeed correct about the state of affairs in Philippines. I'm indeed surprise to see that you are barge enough to be honest about this(very few/if any members on here can openly admit any shortcomings/fault about their country in this forum and most are simply too biased so much that any thing(no matter how obvious/real/factual) you say whixh they think is not favorable to their country, will immediately be labeled as anti-that country or start calling you names etc.lool

So its always good to see members like you are who are bold enough to admit any shortcomings about their country, this makes conversations on here more constructive/valuable.

Anyway, i am sure the phillipiines will one day find its way out of its current predicament, the country has been trying a lot recently, like encouraging/attracting more FDI, witnessing one of the highest GDP growth in Asia and improving its HDI etc. Though much remains to be done, like tackle corruption, bureaucracy, favouritism etc. Also Philippines is not the only country in the region to differ from widespread corruption other countries like Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Thailand and even China also suffer from this as well. Philippines just have to make sure corruption is maintained to a tolerable level where it doesn't affect the country's growth and impact on business/economic activities.
Best wishes to philippines.

Will you guys stop meaningless argue here?
You cannot persuade each other...

Ahhaahhahahaah... I agree. I find it funny they are indulging innsuch arguments on each and every thread, its almost like a repeattion(and kind of getting childish to be honest.lol).But then again, I don't want them to stop like you rightly pointed out, its good entertainment seeing them arguing/trying to convince the other on and on every time. I find it really funny and entertaining.:taz::victory1:

It is hard to pinpoint why there is corruption but it has something to do with the aftermath of Spanish colonization

Well in the Philippines, pointing out the errors of the current president and his/her administration would lead the rest of the Filipinos painting the ones who speak out as "social outcasts" specially under the current Aquino administration where he and his family are treated like kings and saints.
