What's new

New vehicle tested at HIT?

.
Really ! This is one weired looking vehicle. I have no Idea what it is. Can any one tell what it is?

.
Muhafiz indeed is good looking good capabilities vehicle but the other one ( Uknown vehicle) reminds me old style Van.

.
Its an APC without doubt, i think the mole shape face is for driving through walls or something..............somewhat like a battering ram.

.
The mousy looking vehicle looks like an attempt at an MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle.

Note the sloped undercarriage, that is, presumably, to deflect away the force of an explosion from a Mine or an IED.

For example this ATF Dingo:

. . .
Apparently it's been discovered that the "angled" surfaces are effective in deflecting bullets.

These 'Armored' Vehicles tends for protestors who throw rocks or any objects.

One of mouse looking truck (@0:52) is very hilarious!

'Light armored' vehicle (LAV)

Bro the pictures that you shared in this post were not in HIT video..... i am confused whether these are HIT products or HIT is about to develop like that....

Regards,

Sunny

Looks like a mix between a stryker and MRAP type deal. I wonder what chasis its using and well protected the underside is and how thick the armor is.

The vehicle you are referring to is the AL-SALASIL (hopefully I spelled that right, it being named after Prophets PBUH Sword)

It is basically a HIT manufactured prototype MRAP Troop Transporter designed/ copied from the Israeli CAT MRAP. I do have some photos of it while under construction at HIT, the only problem is figuring out how to download them from my mobile onto the computer. As soon as I figure it out, I will post the pics. HIT wants to sell this vehicle to the Pakistan Army's requirement but so far the field tests conducted are not too convincing. The vehicle can carry up to 8-10 full armed soldiers in its passenger cabin, it has the transmission of a Hino Truck and the axle from Hino also.

Guys, you have missed one very major thing.

Check the AK tank when its going in the reverse. It says AL Khalid 1, which means AK 1 is a reality and the talk of AK 2 isn't a rumor or fan boy stuff, rather that is a reality too.

How can you guys miss the AK 1 ???

:)

. .
Tami Al Khalid has recieved a new upgradation package and so AK1 and about AK2 it will be a different but brand new tank...Maybe above 50 tons.
Thanks
