Its so funny to see the Chinese folks in this thread jumping up and down trying to create a fight between Filipino and Viets but obviously its not working.

I guess they are still butthurt that the Viet government have sent a note to the Arbitral Tribunal saying that they support the Philippines’ position and not China’s position.

Nope i do admit like china vietnam is agressive too but not exterm like china i mean converting reefs and shoals in to artificial islands without caring for environmental cost for the region is selfish next to claiming the whole thing is undisputed

About undisputed part, that's the usual way to go. Japan, also, does not recognize that Diaoyutai is a disputed area.

But China has been exceedingly benign, a civilizational reaction/behavior.

When your Navy murdered our unarmed elderly fisherman in cold blood, Taiwan almost declared a war. If something similar happened, you will see how far Taiwan would go.

But, on the other, when Vietnamese thugs lynched and burned to death many civilian (illegal-legal) Chinese workers on the Vietnamese soil, China remained very calm and only asked for a thorough investigation.

I see, there is a difference between state murder and thug crime, but still, China has been rather benign. China's ADIZ in ECS is a late comer since everybody else, even DPRK, has a similar zone for a long long time.

Vietnam is the bigger threat in that they actually use you as a cannon fodder while keeping relations with China just fine. our trade is growing and our military leaders are meeting regularly.

That is becuase of party to party relation, it include in signing stragic partnership in 2000's, annually there will be at least 1 or 2 high rank official visit and in both countries, party power can excessive government power

True. And also there is military to military relations, way comprehensive than between China and the Philippines.

So military facilities plus arrogantly pushing off supplies ships and people like firshermen traditional fishing grounds and reclaiming reefs and shoals with a great ecological repercussions for the whole region is civil plus really you people killed Vietnamese sailors too and ram ships too so far no filipino sailors and firshermen have been killed but due tendance of you guys raming peoples boats its soon gonna happen.
