I remember if I am not mistaken it was in 2002 or 2003This week Northern Algeria, Libya and parts of Tunisia were hit by snowfall. Even Malta apparently recorded some of their coldest temperatures ever and they rarely fall below 0.

Snow in Palestine is rare from what I know about due to the proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. It snows more often in Northern KSA. In the last few years there have been much strange weather. For instance Cairo getting the first snow ever in recorded history. Maybe one day Aden will too.
