now that is what i call ugly , looks like it was made to carry trash not military men and equipment

.
Doesnt look like its equipped. I saw the daily sun picture of the top view. Just a searchlight, antenna, etc on top of the tree storey structure.

not too clear, but looks like it can take a couple of tanks

You see the staircase at the sides? Two men are standing on the right and one on the left. Using them, i guess it can hold one tank.

WTF is tht sh!t??? Thats a ******* ferry not a LCVP. It doesnt look seaworthy at all. It looks like a bus had sex with a small boat resulting in this mishap. Damn i was expecting it to be something like they navy's lcvp :/. Quite disappointed.

Damn bro...

These kinds of landing ships are used in our navy. I dont know why our army went for the other one

Stallion,

Exactly how are the things in the first two pics better????

Perhaps local condition dictated design.... Shallow waters, winter fog etc...

they look better :D....and also can be carried in an amphibious carrier like INS Magar(Magar carries 4 lvcps like these )

As you can see a bd LCVP (which we have many already) carrying a light battle tank...

the home made one is for internal use...and perfect for carrying troops and light vehicles.
