What's new

New interim PM to take Pakistan to new heights

Nothing will ever change the fact APPNA is a PTI political wing now.

This is why I don't understand PDM and Army supporters logic. Their actions have pissed off the educated diaspora who happen to have the most capital. It also doesn't seem their anger is going to simmer down anytime soon.
Not completely I am membe rof APPNA and during their Dallas meeting there was very bitter discussion..10% of apnna members are PPPP Supporters..much few PMLN supporters probably 5% or so..not sure why...

But APPNA people understand that PTI id done and dusted ..they are still in denial but sooner or later will realize this.

There was big push in meeting to put this behind and move forward on social projects anyway

Also I didn't go to meetings this time but my friends from KP were just popping popcorns and laughing at ignorance of other members

Peerzada also told them that look atleast people aren't being thrown off the choppers like they did in KP which we kept quiet and even defended as "collateral damage" so get over it

yes its a league cope mechanism. they will fane ignorance and act docile. its a genetic problem that can only be resolved with some form of collapse that destroys the old system and ushers in a new one.
Well one would imagine current inflation will destroy PMLN support but it hasn't

Its similar to 1999 situation where supporters are just disheartened and will return back in a few years

Look at any survey you will still see 1/3 people will vote for PMLN in Lahore or central punjab

1/3 will say we won't vote for anyone and just a little over 1/3 will say PTI

One thing is for sure 9 may will have no effect on vote bank it has made PTI into MQM and IK into Altaf but hasn't changed the vote bank.

Though if anything or history has told us vote bank doesn't matter when it comes to establishment...bigger leaders like mujeeb ur rehman bacha Khan, Fatima Jinnah have, Altaf Bhai were sidelined

One thing you must understand about APPNA is that it's not a political wing but a ship that changes course if the wind and tide are not in its favor. Those doctors in America and part of the political system here are sharpened tools. They know the meaning of permanent interest and not friends. I'm usually present in those events, while not being a doctor, as I use APPNA to tap funds for projects we do in the States and Pakistan, though in Pakistan, we will be pulling out soon.

However, I agree that things are not as usual regarding relations with Pakistan.

They come from a Sindhi or a Sindhi speaking Baloch background. That diaspora is very heavily pro-PPP.

Why is IK saying that doctors are giving him loads of money then?

People are giving funds but are in the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Once they are all laundered, things will be back to normal.

@Mirzali Khan

I will say one other thing I didn't say before, some of Imran Khan's talking points worked against him. He's always talked about the corrupt having their kids overseas and living their best life but talked about Azadi or death, then the question from a sensible person will be, ok, then bring your kids back and lead by example. On top of the multiple rallies and some deaths that resulted and nothing was accomplished, the bad part after post-May 9th is how he disassociated himself from those rioters saying they weren't my people. That then raises questions in many people's minds, and knowing the IK base was mostly educated Pakistani, they wouldn't throw their life away needlessly.

As I often said to my friends, even in business, under promise and over deliver, but never over promise and under deliver.

Tell them to go live in Pakistan then if PPP (which is currently in power) is so great.

This is what I ask cab drivers in New York who talk about how great Sher is.

APPNA is split 75% in favour of PTI and 25% in favour of PPP/PMLN.
Donald Trump works within the constraints of American legal systems and within the party compulsions of the Republican Party; Imran never had those constraints or desire to be part of a political party. It was all a cult, otherwise how come '27 year political struggle' would come to this? ZAB's rise is attributed to his affiliation with Ayub Khan but he confronted Ayub Khan after the Taskhent Agreement about the 1965 war and confronted Ayub when Ayub was still very powerful, and formed a political party in 1967 which survives to this day. What the hell Imran did as a political leader? You know if he croaked at the height of his power in 2020, the PTI would have ended then!! This was all a one-man show--centered around the Jim Jones of Pakistan, who is now in denial like the Baghdad Bob about his downfall but going to meet the fate of Altaf Hussein. The three bolded persons describe Imran well.

And Imran is still 'relevant' because too many gullible Pakistanis--including in this 'educated' group of Pakistanis' forum--still support the Clown Khan. They are no different from the Sindhi Haris (peasants) who still vote for PPP despite 50+ years of PPP misrule. Pakistan has paid a heavy price for not only the 'fiscal landmines' which Imran laid just before his departure in April 2022 but is also paying the price for the anarchy which Imran caused in last 14+ months.

Offtopic but: You are medical doctor, right? Watch this video by a Pakistani-American affiliated with medical institutions in America who has a message of hope for Pakistan. He is clear that the anarchy Imran caused has hurt Pakistan a lot.

If Pakistan is so great now move there then? Amreeka vich bund kyun marwana pye paanchoda?

Meengla is on straight up hate mode for IK just becuase he threw out the NCM just because of that everything that happens after that is great and justified according to his big brain logic lol.

. .
Let him yap his mouth. If Pakistan is so great now his bund should be in Pakistan not America.
According to his logic throwing out the NCM and forgive me for saying that is equal to buring the Quran.

Loving your country is far more important than loving a personality. Kudos to you as well!! BTW, I think I did give some money to PTI on or around the 2018 elections. No regrets though: I thought Imran was Pakistan's best hope, just as I once supported the haraami Altaf Hussein to be a legit voice for us Karachiites.
Imran is a combination of Jim Jones, Baghdad Bob and Altaf Hussein in one! ;)
PS. Let's add Machiavelli and Goebbels too ;)

There is a reason why there are haad haram supporters of noon leak. its all to do with what favours that party will do them.

I met a guy after PTI came to power and the guy was a business person from south Punjab. Now his reason for voting PTI which he was not happy about was due to the favours they wanted from PTI.

Noon leak does a lot criminal activities and it gives some of the lower jahil and illiterates some crumbs. Those jahil followers get off on those crumbs thrown at them and that's their support.

BUT these favours are NOT given equally. There is a guy here in my town who came from Pakistan few years ago and hails from a feudal background.

Because of his background noon leak does them a lot of favours which are illegal. Even IK said that the bureaucrats were doing the work for noon leak despite his gov.

So this support of noon leak is not an organic support like PTI. its all to do with favours, to do with jahil people who sell their votes.

Think about it, even mian itself said that when it comes to getting favours everyone is with it. BUT when difficult times arise everyone F's off.

mian makes a deal with the junta and f's off to London. till next episode.
