New Delhi to put pressure on the Myanmar government

We all love our neighboring Chaiwala president.
We were just hoping the cow dung he fed had became fertiliser.
Too much hilsa for today?? Remember to swim back to the remaining part of your land still not submerged under water.
Modi is the president of India! Thanks for letting me know.:omghaha:

Diplomacy should be done quitely to get results.
Aim is to provide relief to the rohingyas , not score points by cheap propaganda of Muslim solidarity, while effectively doing nothing.
Modi has assuaged the Burmese by showing concern for the terror attacks on their army and now will work behind the scenes with the Burmese and Bangladeshis to stop this influx.
Modi will emerge as the world statesman he is.

Neither china nor India can put any pressure on myanmar thats the fact. some morons think they are too powerful , they are only too small for the big shoes.

.
India is a non-entity here with no regional influence and Myanmar wouldn't even pay heed worth a penny to New Delhi's 'pressure'. Asking India to put pressure is like asking a pig to give a lecture on cleanliness.

Diplomatically, our biggest option is the Muslim world. If that fails, we need to look for other alternatives aside from diplomacy.

Muslim world would be as useless as India. The only ones who matter are China, Russia, US & EU.

China & Russia are strongly supporting Myanmar. So Bangladesh's best bet is to get support from the West. Else game over.

.
Yes lots of "pressure" indeed lol

Look how desperate these idiots are to label call for peace/resolution of crisis with restraint and concern for civilians etc as some kind of negative pressure on MM govt. @Aung Zaya As though India didn't already inform MM what muted statements it may give for optics globally....and what the real support and cooperation behind the scenes (that is wetting the lungis badly) is being given to MM from India (Modi visit by coincidence ended up being a great timing!)

Keep going Myanmar and good job giving middle finger to ARSA call for "ceasfire" for "humanitarian reasons". Response from MM was "we do not negotiate with terrorists"

Exactly! this is just a lip service to calm down the sentiments. Many other countries all already doing this lip servicing. In-fact no country can put pressure on them.

Aung and Alung have been missing for the duration of this news, maybe they're on the junta's payroll lol

anyway, this global "outrage" will die down quickly, this "genocide" is way less intense than the binnual/triennial yahudi roasting of gaza lel..

yes. bro
no need to negotiate with Terrorists.
it's too obvious it need time to recruit from the people hiding somewhere in Rakhine mountain. see most of the people who fled to BD are children and women.
we cant stop hunting terrorists. at the same time we will provide food and supplies to both communities though RED CROSS movement.

the view from high level official from White House.

She is nobody in White house. She runs her own NGO and probably getting paid by the burmese. She was the ex- Charge the Affairs of USA in Burma and claimed to be a friend of Su-Ki.
Burmese hired a lot of white people for lobbying in west since 2011.

Hilsa is considered a proper food unlike cow-cola.
And cow cola is a proper food where?
This term was coined by pakistanis frequently used by Bangladeshis here. It's pretty obvious who's obsessed with cow dung and piss in this forum.

'Rohingyas today are the world’s most persecuted minority. The news, images, videos which are coming from Burma’s Rakhine province are shocking. There are mass killings going on which amount to nothing less than genocide. In these terrible times the Rohingyas have no other option than to leave Burma, just to stay alive. When I talked to Salimullah, he said “the situation today is even worse than how it was in 2012. We were lucky to have left Burma before it started. The people those who are there now, will face nothing else than a horrifying death.” Their experiences in India have been quite positive. Apart from living in an environment of peace, most of the refugees have found a way to sustain economically.

However, the Indian government plans to deport the people living here in various rehabilitation centres. Thankfully beyond all these moral, ethical arguments, lies the legal framework, on which Prashant Bhushan has filed a petition, which might be the only thing that will save the lives of the refugees.'

Doyal-butthurt-baba thinks Pakistan is a "dependable ally". After spending better portion of 2 years or so (since I joined as member) routinely attacking Pakistan in the most ...erm....unfriendly....ways.

What little credibility of his that remains just went down the Bangladesh (sewer). Don't take it too seriously.

Apparently all it takes for this is the return of just 1 million in total or so to BD among a population of 170 million already there (and another beloved "dependable ally" ummah has promised them all the aid they need to help with that anyway). But then we all knew BD people are the most fickle and have biggest chip on their shoulder by far (given the long term way they attack India now after Indian involvement in their own liberation to begin with).

These BD defence board types are hopeless. Treat each one as a rabid anti-India hater by default. They hate having the reality of their country exposed. They were so clinging to some BD renaissance happening soon under SHW (as trade off for her being an Indian lackey and stomping on BD institutional crediblity).....but now they realised the golden eggs the SHW-goose layed are just gold paint....like everyone else was telling them to begin with. People waking up from such iconoclasms are generally some of the most rabid ones you will find. Sit back and watch....their betters already prepared for this to happen and will steer BD away from these myriad of clingy desperate hands that form large portion of BD "elite".
