What Pakistan needs to do is develop SLV's and other more capable launch platforms on the basis of which to covertly develop longer range ballistic missile. Some time ago we heard from none other than the president that he was going to make Pakistan a space fairing nation, but unfortunatly we havn't heard anythinh since. Imo under the "peaceful" space exploration guise Pakistan should increase the range of it's missiles.

No thats not correct Agni IV exactly Agni 3 with added one more stage, Agni 3 is a tech demostrator type system for the real thing.

enzo there is no project called Surya, its a cold war relic now, Agni IV is a ICBM and willl have range like the French M51 including the payload et al.

under the nuclear deal the upper range for any indian missile will be no more than 6000kms.

this means that the surya programme is dead even before it could start.

Agni 4's range will be around 8k~12kwith full load~slight variance of load that is M51 class missile.

Thats totally irrelevant. Of course US will try and influence India. The fact that India won't attack US is totally different from US wanting to stop another country from obtaining ICBMs

I didn't say that US was a "friend" with Europe. US treats Western European nations with deference because they are capable of defending themselves and their economies are intertwined. The same will be applicable to India in the future. Hence, US won't be attacking India anytime soon.

In the future, its highly unlikely that US will try to openly destabilize India. Not because we are "friends" or anything, but because of extensive economic interdependence and common goals versus China's growing influence etc.

Tell me this, What is stopping GOI from increasing Pay pastures of DRDO scientists so that they dont leave for greener pastures? What iss topping GOI from getting better educational facilities instead letting georgia tech having campus here, How can we create IPR if we fall in that line?
