Outdated equipment and haram khoor staff always looking for money, thank God I have connections or God knows how much I would had to pay just because I am visiting Pakistan and brining some gifts. I felt so so bad when they were taking bribes from all our poor labor class people just because they had luggage or were bringing few items. When I was leaving Pak I arrived early at the airport and guess what there is not seating place. There were few banches but kids and womens were sleeping on them and I asked so where can I sit? Can you believe it the security guy told me sit on your luggage. There were two foreign girls who were traveling to Thiland and they couldn't believe this is the airport of our capital so called Corrupt Benazir one. Ok, after enjoying sitting on my luggage and playing a game on my tablet I was about to go in so I can check in but wait a min I do not have my E ticket in paper. I showed the guy complete details of my reservation and everything on my tablet but too bad he wanted a paper copy of it because he said I made it up. I even told him to check it with Qatar airways I can give my reference number but NO WAY. He wanted me to go to Qatar airways office and get a print copy of my ticket at 1 am along with my luggage. Here's another funny thing he told me the office is on 2nd floor and I have to take my luggage with me and interesting thing is there is no elevator, so how the hell I am going to take my luggage with me. Well I had too much at this stage and was so tired I called one of my relative who is a commissioner. He called the airport and God I was treated like a VIP after that. The customs officer came out to greet me and even insulted the custom guy at the door who was asking for my ticket, Damn no one needed my ticked,no one cared how much my luggage weighs and what I am carrying. I was even offered kuch gharam/ thanda, but I just wanted my boarding pass and wanted to get out of that zoo as soon as possible. So government of Pakistan keep coming up with new taxes and keep treating us like donkeys and keep asking us to help the economy, other than that over seas Pakistanis are nothing more than used condoms for you.
