It was done so as to protect the culture and tradition of Manipur.Bollywood is allowed and screened in other NE states except for manipur. This generation's youth of Manipur don't understand hindi and only watches hollywood,Korean and other Asian movies/TV drama only.

I think it's overreacting.

It's a very normal for any country to make a movie based on historical event and create a hero character from it.

And it's a very normal too for people to comment negatively in internet. Just open comment section in YouTube or anything, there are tons of it.

I'm actually questioning the author of this article, why he made it as a news article?
