i have a specific question. i have a gigabyte ma69vm am2 mobo. right now i have athlon X2 64 running on it. i wanna put sempron 145 into it. it says on cpu upgrade that it is compatible with latest bios upgrade which i did.

my question is, has anyone here tried am3 processor on am2 socket ? did it work ? any processor or mobo combos should do.

this is the other desktop i have. i wanna do something with it. not sure what !!!

Usually AM2 processors do fit in AM3/+ motherboards. Am3 processors won't fit in AM2 mobos.

I would have taken this deal. I learnt java in its infancy back in 1999-2000 as part of a course I was doing. then my brother also did his project in it creating an applet then i moved to mundane things and he moved to more complex programming.

on a similar note I will like to resume flash 8 self teaching though Adobe's Flash own lessons.

moving from animation to action script. but like I said I stopped and was disheartened for loosing so many months worth of work and data

I have kept my primary / private email address hotmail but it seems i have to move to google.

I can share some excel functions if someone is interested like vlookup, hlookup, pivots, ifs, goal seek, macros etc.

Feel free to ask any sort of help you want regarding flash. Though I never looked at Flash in past 3 - 4 years, but my skills still won't be that rusty..

Flash 8 is way too old, but you can work on it. Latest versions are hell different. Major difference is, Flash 8 used ActionScript 2 which these latest version don't support it if I'm not wrong. Till Flash CS4, which I last used, AS 2 was still supported. But for the stuff you're talking about, flash 8 will work.

And for malware, I'm using Malwarebytes Anti malware program premium edition (pirated premium edition). Highly recommended program. Though won't catch viruses, only malware, keyloggers etc , It augments your Anti virus program

Malwarebytes is asking for your PC to get a considerable hit in performance, and to damage your RAM and your CPU.

Best way to not get malware is to NEVER EVER download using "Recommended Settings".Always check what you are downloading, and use it from sites that are credible.

I will like to share and learn about how to clear malware and keylogers from the system which normally are missed by anti virus programs. also on retrieving data from errored hard disk

You have to understand the difference first between malware and viruses, malware enters your system with your permission, and so it does not register as a virus, what malware does is basically find a way to get your permission without you knowing you gave it. That is in a nutshell "Download using recommended settings". See my post above.

I understand. But can't help. If you want a system that will last a few years check the FX processors from AMD. MSI and Gigabyte (also ASUS) have some of the best motherboards for that.
