Nepal bombs across border into India's Uttarkhand with anti-India songs on Indian radio frequencies

Residents of Uttarakhand villages bordering Nepal that can catch the frequency of radio stations in the neighboring country have been hearing anti-India songs, which call for return of areas in Uttarakhand like Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura.

These areas were recently included in Nepal’s new map. Mostly, the songs played on FM channels between the shows and the news bulletins don’t fail to taunt Nepalese politicians for “not doing enough to get back the land that belongs to Nepal,” reported Times of India.

Krishna Garbiyal, a local trader from Dharchula, used to listen to news on these radio stations, told the newspaper that he doesn’t listen to these stations anymore ever since “the news bulletins are totally one-sided and show India in a bad light.”

Babita Sanwal, a school teacher in Dharchula in Pithoragarh district, remembered lyrics of one of the songs: “Hamrai ho tyo Kalapani, Lipulekha, Limpiyadhura… Utha, jaga, veer Nepali (Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura are ours… Wake up, brave people).”

N S Napalchyal, former chief secretary of Uttarakhand who hails from Dharchula area of Pithoragarh, told the newspaper that “Nepalese propaganda needs to be strongly countered”. “The state government and even the central government should start its own community radios in the area to give a clear picture to locals about the present scenario.”

What can I say? Prachanda used to be extremely anti-India. He changed after after a few years in power. So let's hope for a change.

How does it matter to us? If Nepal wants to cut ties with India, it's their loss. We are no way dependent on them. If China gets a foothold in Nepal, sooner or later Nepalese will resent them even more. China will not gain any particular advantage by stationing troops there against us. They wouldn't need Nepal to strike us as they share long border with us directly. And if Nepal allows China to use their soil against us, then we have our networks to plunge that entire country into civil war.

mostly nepales who are living and working abroad sending their remittiences thru india they sud switch if they can survive in the time of crises when india actually stop oil tankers they can survive better if get help from China, stop using indian airlines or buses,
i dont know why india think nepal is the only one taking all advantages when nepal is a suffering party they losing by depending on india.

Nepal can be a wonderful springboard for an offensive into the Indian plains.

Any Chinese incursion along the present LAC will be slow. There won't be much of a resistance (because the Indian Army can't fight armed soldiers) but the roads are difficult.

From Nepal on the other hand, the Indian plains are easy to reach. With Nepal joining the Chinese camp soon, the end of India is coming nearer.
