Negroponte arrived BB geting outa skin

With leaders like that, Pakistan does not require enemies!

Cutting aid will only harm Pakistan's interest.

A case of cutting the nose to spite the face!
She herself mentions that getting aid restarted is not that easy.

So we really shouldn't be asking THAT as a leverage tool. People from the outside cannot save Pakistan. We need to do it!

here's a message for Mr. Nagroponte...

Meddling with Pakistan
AS A colonial ex-resident of Pakistan I found the youthful David Miliband’s demands for President Pervez Musharraf to respect democracy ill-informed and unrealistic (Back off, Mr Miliband – it’s not for you to sort out Pakistan’s mess, Simon Jenkins, Comment, last week). As President Vladimir Putin has observed, democracy is a western construct, Russians are used to strong leadership, and this applies in greater measure to Pakistan.
Britain and America still act like proseletysing missionaries determined to force their views on farflung countries. Pakistan has its roots in tribalism and, with the exception of brief nods to western-style democracy, has been ruled by the military since it came into being. Given the demands of the Taliban and the problems on the Afghan border, Musharraf has a near impossible task.
Perhaps this time western politicians can avoid the lure of regime change.

Has anyone given a thought why N'Ponte does notfly to Burma to restore democracy ? Because

1. They could not care less who N'Ponte represents.
2. They never take aid from USA.
3. They don't possess nukes.

I have no doubt that USA secretly is planning to sell Pakistan down the river after it some how manages to de-fang Pakistan by making it giving up its nukes. BB will be part of this plan knowingly or unknowingly.

Then why have this charade of saying Pakistan is a democratic nation or wants to become one ? Why is Pakistan raising meaningless resolutions of self determination in the UN if she believes her own people are better of without that right ?

Be proud and say to one and all that we like the Army governing us and thats the way we wish to be.

Pinky should be in Jail. Not governing a 165 million nation.
