Negative/Defaming threads

My dear respected forum members,
Why do we feel the need to post threads with negative articles on neighboring countries or even people? Don't get me wrong but it is absolutely your right to do so. You do have to spend time looking for stuff like this, correct. Use it for something productive.

The threads I am talking about are just posted to malign or defame just for sake of it.... because they are people we do not agree with or like. These threads barely have any substantial proof. How about this recent thread about a "dead terrorist with an uncircumcised penis being labeled an indian".

My opinion is that it is a cultural thing for us to do. We all have someone in our families that is always trying to dig dirt on someone else rather than mind their own business.

I would like to say something to my fellow Pakistani members. We are at this point in time because we have been living in denial for a long time. The problems we are facing in Pakistan are our problems. Blaming them on others will not solve them. Definetely enemies of Pakistan are lending a hand to make the problems worse.

Take a minute and think about this. Does it do any good to sit and blame someone else for your problem even if that someone is responsible? No, only you can get yourself out of the ditch.

The sooner we get out of this mentality the better.

Those threads are just answering the baseless claims of Indian, no one is putting dirt on someone else in fact. I don't how you are judging others, they aren't all denying their situation, in fact no one is denying. I know that morale speeches get many thanks and are of course right to make us keep in mind how we should behave but judging abt others though they aren't even denying Pakistan's situuation is just hilarious.

Please pay a little more attention to what I wrote. I wasn't passing judgement on anyone. I included myself in the discussion as why "we" do stuff like this.

I'm glad you find it hilarious. What are we going to do.... reply to allegations made from the other sides all of life or are we going to get up and fix our house. Those people who we reply to...... do they ever help??? NO!! So it's time to ignore things like this and actually get something done.

Valid point Tamir, the management shares your opinion. As a defence forum we're interested in defence and politics related topics and encourage such debates. Understanding the psyche of your adversaries is as important as the readiness of our military forces. Whats better to engage eachother with respect in a peaceful and healthy environment like we've created here and learn from eachother instead of throwing mud and wasting time on pis$ing off contest.

On the other hand we also grant and respect freedom of free speech. Members have the right to challenge eachother and share and defend their pov. There's nothing wrong with being critic as long as it is done in a constructive manner.

Unforunately some people here from both sides have an agenda, their posts have no added value and their sole purpose is to derail threads and to degrade the forum.
We can help eachother by ignoring those members and there threads/posts. Once we stop feeding the trolls, the topic wil die on its own.

Basic rule is that people living in glass houses should not be throwing stones. There's a lot of wrongs on both sides, lets not try to convice eachother who'se the bigger loser.

2. You are calling me immature, I think u need a moral speech
3. Everyone can talk, you should act if u are the angel which will teach us

There are two sides of your story. Not only Pakistanis, also Indians are posting critical things against us. But what is the deal when we post in constructive manner? (the opposite of your posts) We can criticise each others country with facts. I got your facts but ur post was just poor

My posts are my views on policies of Pakistan, not its people. I dont brand Islam= Terrorism, as other members equate Hindu=Terrorist.
I dont post a 'penis video' and label it Pakistani. Why dont we all take a deep breath, and start again. Two wrongs have never made them right have they?

My simple point was to not waste time and do something productive.

This hate is fueled by lack of knowledge and disinformation. I've been to India, people want the same things we want in Pakistan or anywhere else.... .simple basic necessities. Maybe I feel this way because I have kids now and don't want them growing up around so much hate.
