my suggestion is regarding award of army ranks to members.

1.there should be one general being the chief of the site
2.then like corps commanders there should be limited number of Lt Gens
3. Maj Gen also limited and others
4. promotion upto the rank of major should be on number of posts and after that through promotion boards every month based on quality of posts. promotion board should comprises of administrators,chief of site, Lt gen and etc like being happening in army.

More over who has time to review and create a panel to review posts, I assume all Mods are in "Full time Jobs". And this site is not the place from where they earn their bread

if you want to award properly then it should be awarded properly. these ranks are not so price less that they could be awarded to anybody just because of number of posts. more than 10 people are wearing generals ranks here thats not justified. this job is required to be done by administrators and lots of us are ready to help. Lets devise a mechanism where quality of posts is base of promotion not number of posts.
