I like Sharmistha too. Very brainy chick of my batch in the all girl's convent school (ours was all boys) who then became my classmate in +2. Very pretty too.

I was told to drop my Indian name, and adopt e western name to interact with students, I settled for 'Aeron'. It's a weird feeling to choose a name for yourself.

there is no harm in adopting cosmopolitan naming.
