Need your blessings..

.
Dear ladies and gentlemen, enough of fighting here. I have something to share with all of you. It is my utmost pleasure to announce that two tiny, little cute souls need your love and blessings. Oh yes, you guessed it right. I have been blessed by the God almighty with not one but two little sweethearts, a girl and a boy. All gratitude to the God and doctors, both are safe and doing just fine.

My feelings? Well, I always wondered how newly born fathers or mothers react to the sudden change in the world around them. I got my answers when very small little fingers grabbed mine or sleep sound keeping their head on my heart. Times come and times go, but few blurred images from the past never seized to depart from our mind. It seems only days when my father took me into his arms, rubbing his rough, bearded chick with mine, my mother’s worrying face when his son went to school for the first time or the dumbfounded myself sitting with my numb, motionless mother in front of the lifeless body of her elder daughter without knowing what appropriate it would be to react after such horribly tragic departure of someone dearest to the heart.

It really occurs strange and philosophical as well that the little boy, inexperienced to life and all its dramas finally transits from one phase of life to another that his father did some thirty years ago. It leaves an equally profound impression from time to time that the tiny little souls on my shoulders will pass through similar experiences in just no time, like their father did. Perhaps this has been the most astonishing realization about the secrets of life I had so far.

But hey, life has appeared with all its vitality, charm and beauty again in the family. There are smiles and cries, empty cans of baby foods, feeding bottles, diapers and small towels everywhere. Amidst this chaos, everyone’s mind is roaming around two rosebuds at the centre who need your love and blessings as well. Am I leaving? Hell no. See you all soon. Take care and my best wishes to all of you. Cheers..

I am feeling nostalgic talking about our darzi.

Old Muslim man, Mohd. Umar.

With his wooden rulers and chalk.

May he rest in peace.

To be honest I never grew out of my college boy persona.

I was great with my first born.He was my trophy baccha. And a chick magnet. Understandable, as I was just year out of college then.

By the third, I was back to my late night partying ways.

Ab mai thoda mature ho raha hun in my mid 40s.

Maybe by the time I am Salman's age, I would be as mature as guys in their mid 30s today.

At least that's my wife's everlasting hope .....
